Every year, the Red River Exhibition Foundation awards scholarships and bursaries in support of the Red River Exhibition Association’s mandate to promote industry, commerce, tourism and agriculture.
AGRICULTURE AND AGRI-FOOD INDUSTRY
In 2001, the Red River Exhibition Association established the Agriculture Scholarship category in honour of the Farm Family of the Year.
Farm Family of the Year
One $1,500 scholarship is awarded in honour of the Farm Family of the Year.

EDUCATION BURSARY
Two, $1,000 education bursaries for Manitoba students are awarded annually.
Reserved for candidates that are pursuing continued education in university or college with a focus on education (teaching). Considerations will be made for those candidates that are enrolled in an arts program with the intention to bridge into Education. These bursaries were made possible as a result of the continued support and success of the Red River Exhibition Foundation by its partners and operators.
INDUSTRY TRADE BURSARY
One $2,000 trade bursary for a Manitoba student is awarded annually.
Reserved for candidates that are pursuing continued education in a recognized trades program offered by a college or professional trades facility. This bursary is made possible as a result of the continued support and success of the Red River Exhibition Foundation by its partners and operators.

JOHN BLUMBERG SPORTS BURSARY
One $2,000 sports bursary for a Manitoba student is awarded annually.
Reserved for candidates pursuing a sports degree program in a variety of fields ie: sports medicine, kinesiology, PE teacher, physio, message therapy etc. etc. Viable candidates can also be pursuing a higher coaching level through a certification program and not necessarily though a university or college. This bursary is made possible as a result of the continued support and success of the Red River Exhibition Foundation by its partners and operators.
