The Loop is the official new home of Manitoba Harness Racing, and also doubles as a venue for concerts, rodeo events, and more. Located at Exhibition Park, the venue has a capacity of approximately 1,200 spectators, and can be configured to meet the needs of a wide variety of events.
The Loop features:
- A race track that offers great sitelines and exceptional entertainment value.
- Paddock and stabling area provides stabling for horses brought in for the day, but also allows patrons to get up close to the horses for an engaging experience.
- State-of-the-art facilities like a licensed viewing area, stage, and other amenities help ensure smooth operations and an unhindered experience for the visitors.
- A summer farmers market and additional entertainment will roll out gradually over the summer of 2023.
- A Parking lot immediately adjacent to the race track that can accommodate up to 2,000 cars. Additional race parking lot space will support bigger vehicles like large trucks and horse trailers, keeping them separate from public parking.
- Bleachers and clubhouse will be part of a planned future expansion. A fully enclosed all-season clubhouse will include a full commercial kitchen, dining room, sports bar, VLTs and more.
