After leaving Winnipeg for 30 years, live harness racing returned to the city once again in 2023. In the summer of 2024, come see the best of Manitoba’s standardbred horses at The Loop, the brand new racetrack and venue at Red River Exhibition Park.
About Harness Racing
Harness racing is a form of horse racing in which the horses race at a specific gait (a trot or pace). They pull a two-wheeled cart called a sulky. Visiting the Track
