After disappearing for 30 years, live harness racing began calling Winnipeg home once again in 2023. In the summer of 2024, come see the best of Manitoba’s standardbred horses at The Loop, the brand new racetrack and venue at Exhibition Park.
About Harness Racing
Harness racing is a form of horse racing in which the horses race at a specific gait (a trot or pace). They pull a two-wheeled cart called a sulky. Visiting the Track
Join Manitoba Harness Racing every Saturday to take in some of the best racing in the province. Watch and wager while harnessing the energy of the open-air space, which now includes a licensed area.

Admission and parking are free!
Stay tuned for added entertainment and features rolling out in the coming weeks, including a farmers’ market, food trucks, and a petting zoo for the kids (or kids at heart).
