About Harness Racing
Harness racing is a form of horse racing in which the horses race at a specific gait (a trot or pace). They pull a two-wheeled cart called a sulky. Committed to the promotion and success of the sport, Manitoba Harness Racing offers a helpful FAQ page on the specifics of the sport and how to wager on it.
Visiting the Track
Join Manitoba Harness Racing every Saturday to take in some of the best racing in the province. Watch and wager while harnessing the energy of the open-air space, which now includes a licensed area.
Post Times
Harness Racing cards begin each Saturday at 2 pm starting on August 5 until September 30. Between Oct. 7-28, the post times start at 1 pm. The season ends on October 28, 2023.
Admission and Parking
Admission and parking are free!
Stay tuned for added entertainment and features rolling out in the coming weeks, including a farmers’ market, food trucks, and a petting zoo for the kids (or kids at heart).
