Three bursaries are presented annually on behalf of the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg. Check out the information for each scholarship in the tabs below:
One, $1,000 bursary is being awarded by the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg, annually, to assist an individual who is pursuing a career in any trade. The bursary is administered by the Red River Exhibition Foundation Inc. and may be used for assistance with tuition fees, tools or learning aids in conjunction with their post-secondary education or apprenticeship training in any trade career.
In order to apply for this bursary you must be a Manitoba resident and entering any trade program or continuing your education in any trade program, in addition to submitting and completing the information on the application form.

Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg Trade Bursary Application

One, $1,000 bursary is being awarded by the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg, annually, to assist a Manitoban entering or attending post-secondary school or an apprenticeship program who has shown exemplary leadership skills, keen interest in community involvement and exceptional citizenship. The bursary is administered by the Red River Exhibition Foundation Inc. and may be used for assistance with tuition fees, tools or learning aids in conjunction with their post-secondary education or training.
In order to apply for this bursary you must be a Manitoba resident and entering or continuing your post-secondary education or apprenticeship training, in addition to submitting and completing the information on the application form.

Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg Community Leadership Award Application

One, $1,500 bursary will be awarded, annually, to a student who is currently enrolled in the Creative Communications program at Red River College.
The bursary is made on behalf of Kathy Kennedy and her 30 years of service to the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg through the Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo program. Kathy will personally select the recipient and award the bursary.
In order to apply for this bursary, you must be a Manitoba resident and a student who has been accepted to or who will continue in the Creative Communications program at Red River College, in addition to submitting and completing the information on the application form.
Kathy Kennedy is a highly-regarded broadcaster with well over 30 years of experience in radio and television under her belt. Originally from Brandon, Kathy comes by her media chops honestly being raised by very supportive parents and whose mother was a CBC broadcaster. Meeting people and telling their stories is the thing she likes best about her career choice. A lover of rock and roll as well as fishing, Kathy is, first and foremost, a very proud Manitoban.
