Business Scholarship

Three $1,000 business scholarships for Manitoba students are awarded annually.

The scholarships were made possible as a result of donations made by the W. Garfield Weston Foundation supported by the Real Canadian Superstore and are administered by the Red River Exhibition Foundation.

Application Deadline: Second Friday in May by 11:59 pm

Application Criteria for Business Scholarship

  • A resident of Manitoba
  • A student entering or continuing post-secondary studies in a business-related program at a Manitoba university or accredited college.

The vision essay could include: • The applicant’s biography information. • Why the applicant thinks business fits their skills, abilities and holds prospects for the applicant as a career. (This could include a short description of any community participation, volunteer or paid experience the applicant has.) • What the applicant could contribute to a business and what a career in business could contribute to the individual’s personal and professional growth. • A short description of any community participation, volunteer or paid experience that the applicant has.
