Industry Trade Bursary

One $1,000 and one $750 Trade Bursaries for Manitoba students awarded annually.

Reserved for candidates that are pursuing continued education in a recognized trades program offered by a College or Professional Trades Facility. These bursaries were made possible as a result of the continued support and success of the Red River Exhibition Foundation by its partners and operators.

  • A student entering or continuing in a trades program at a college, university, or professional trades facility.

The vision-essay should contain: • Applicants biographical information • Why the applicant thinks industry trades fits their skills, abilities and holds prospects for the applicant as a career. This could include a short description of any volunteer or paid experience the applicant has. • What the applicant could contribute to industry trades and what the industry could contribute to the individual’s personal and professional growth.
