Education Bursary

Two $1,000 Education Bursaries for Manitoba students will be awarded annually.

Reserved for candidates that are pursuing continued education in University or College with a focus on education (teaching). Considerations will be made for those candidates that are enrolled in an Arts program with the intention to bridge into Education. These bursaries were made possible as a result of the continued support and success of the Red River Exhibition Foundation by its partners and operators.

Application Deadline: Second Friday in May by 11:59 pm

  • A student entering or continuing in an educational program at a College or University level.

The vision-essay should contain: • Applicants biographical information • Why the applicant thinks the tourism industry fits their skills, abilities and holds prospects for the applicant as a career. This could include a short description of any volunteer or paid experience the applicant has. • What the applicant could contribute to the tourism industry and what the industry could contribute to the individual’s personal and professional growth.
