When is this year’s Red River Ex?
The 2024 Red River Ex runs June 14-23, 2024.
Where is the Red River Ex located?
The Red River Ex is located at Red River Exhibition Park at 3977 Portage Ave. We’re located just west of the Perimeter Highway.
What am I allowed to bring to the Red River Ex?
Make sure to check the weather and plan for it (sunscreen, jacket, umbrella, etc) and wear comfortable shoes! For a list of prohibited items, click here.
Do you have a lost and found?
Yes. Lost items are typically collected overnight and brought to our office the next day. To see if your lost item was found, please call our office at (204) 888-6990. Office hours are 8:30 am – 7:00 pm during the Ex.
Where is the Lost Kids’ Centre?
The Red River Ex is pleased to offer a Lost Kids’ Program while at the Park. The Lost Kids’ Centre is located at the east gate by the exit. Our volunteers will tag your child with your cell phone number.
What forms of payment are accepted at the Red River Ex? Are there ATMs on-site?
Payment for parking ($5 a car) accepts cash or debit/credit. Most vendors/food trucks accept both cash and credit, but some may operate as cash only. ATMs are located in Exhibition Place.
How late can I enter the Red River Ex?
Gates close an hour before the Park closes. For Park hours, click here.
How late do rides stay open?
Rides operate from open to close, with Kiddieland rides closing about an hour before close.
Where can I change or breast feed my child?
We have two diaper changing and breast feeding stations, one located in Kiddieland and the other located in Exhibition Place. Thank you to GNR Camping World for providing a quiet place for parents to take care of their little ones.
Where can I charge my phone?
Cell phone charging is located inside Exhibition Place on the wall by the Munch Bar. NOTE: Cables are not provided, so please bring your own USB charging cable.
Are there mobility devices available?
Wagons, scooters and wheelchairs are available for rent at the west entrance. Rentals are limited and provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is permitted on-site except in Kiddieland.
Is cannabis permitted?
Cannabis is strictly prohibited on Exhibition Park grounds.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed at the Red River Ex. However, service animals are permitted.

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available online and at select retailers. Tickets are also available at the gate during the event. For more information on tickets, click here.
I’m not able to attend, can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds on tickets and passes, whether due to weather reasons or otherwise. The Red River Ex opens rain or shine.
Does my child need a ticket to get on the rides?
Children aged 6 and under receive free gate admission! However, every person wanting to get on a ride must have either a wristband or ride tickets.
Can I get on a ride with my child without a ride ticket/wristband if my child has one?
Every person boarding a ride requires a wristband or ride tickets, no exceptions.
Do ticket prices increase once The Ex starts?
Yes! Buy before June 14 to save money on gate admission and magic passes.
