The safety of our guests, volunteers, exhibitors, and staff is of the utmost importance. Here you’ll find our safety and security measures in place at the Red River Ex.

Entering Exhibition Park

Guests entering Exhibition Park are subject to metal detector screening, bag/purse checking, and may be physically searched. The Red River Exhibition Park reserves the right to confiscate items which are prohibited or that may cause danger or disruption to the event or other guests. Any guest who declines the security screening may be denied entry to The Red River Ex.

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited on Exhibition Park grounds:

  • Alcohol
  • Recreational/Illegal drugs
  • Bicycles/Scooters
  • Skateboards
  • In-line skates
  • Fireworks
  • Any mechanically enhanced noise making device (such as air horns/sirens)
  • Laser pointers
  • Marking devices (such as spray paint)
  • Motorized vehicles (except mobility aids)
  • Offensive clothing and materials
  • Pets (excluding service dogs)
  • Professional cameras or recording devices
  • Remote control vehicles including unmanned aerial vehicles such as drones, etc.
  • Unauthorized advertising
  • Weapons and dangerous devices of any sort, such as, but not limited to firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, knives, tools, bear spray, etc.
  • No gang affiliated clothing
  • Any item deemed to be illegal or potentially hazardous to the safety of other guests

Security

The Red River Ex has 24-hour security on site.

Medical Services

Criti Care Emergency Medical Services are on-site to respond to medical emergencies. Their trailer can be found on the WEST end of the Park.

Weather

The Red River Ex opens rain or shine, however, in the event of strong winds, storms, or lightning spotted in the area, rides may be temporarily shut down until the weather improves. The Red River Ex does not provide refunds due to weather.

Lost Kids Centre

The Red River Ex operates a Lost Kids program designed to reunite lost children with their parents and guardians. The Lost Kids’ Centre is located at the Park’s EAST gate near the exit.
