SENIOR’S IDOL - June 23, 2010
Senior’s Idol is a new province-wide talent search of the 50-Plus group at the Red River Exhibition on June 23, 2010. Competitors can realize their dreams of performing, their second chance, and win great prizes.
Senior’s Idol is a production that is rich in talent not only from the competitors but also presented in an entertaining variety production with professional entertainers completing the showcase of Manitoba Talent. The comedy team of FrankanStan host this variety show with uproarious comedy routines and songs to “tickle your fancy”. Senior Idol is a sure-fire show to delight and amuse. FrankanStan’s interactive style of comedy will even create talent (or not) from various members of the audience.
This talent search includes all disciplines; Singers, dancers, groups all ranges of talent. Oh, and did I mention great prizes.
WORKSHOPS
FrankanStan will conduct a Workshop prior to the final selection of those competing in the event and will coordinate and audition the talent during the selection process. “Larger than Life” and “Communication & Development of the Character” is covered in the workshop designed for each discipline and artists will be empowered to perform with confidence and enthusiasm.
