On Grounds ParadeOn Grounds Parade
Every Saturday and Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

We bring the FUN to you! The On Grounds Ex Parade winds its way entirely through the Midway Rides and Games at the Fair. You’ll hear music, see costumed characters, floats and have a chance to catch some Mardi Gras beads!

Friday, June 13, Saturday, June 14 & Sunday, June 15
Friday, June 20, Saturday, June 21 & Sunday, June 22
All parades are at 6:30 p.m.

Seniors Day
Seniors Day (60+) / Discover the EX AGAIN!

We invite everybody 60 years and older to “Discover the EX AGAIN!”. On Tuesday, June 17th present your ID to the Ticket Purchase Booths at the Front Gates to the EX and receive 50% OFF the $8.00 Gate admission and a swipe card that entitles 60+ patrons to one ride on the Merry Go Round and one ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel. Enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the EX and enjoy the wide variety of Family and Musical entertainment featured throughout the Park.

Kids and families will receive special pricing in the Kiddieland Midway only for this one special day. You can purchase 30 Midway Coupons for $20.00 at any Kiddieland Ticket Booth, a saving of over 30%.

National Aboriginal DayNational Aboriginal Day

The Ex will open at 12 noon for National Aboriginal Day celebrations. Central Park Lawn will come alive with sounds of drums, singers and dancers as a full slate of activities with the National Aboriginal Day competitive Pow Wow sponsored by Manitoba Lotteries from 1 pm to 7 pm.

The Central Park area will feature exhibits, music and crafts for sale throughout the day under cover next to the competition area. In addition the Manito Ahbee Aboriginal Festival Concert will be the feature event on the Central Park Stage starting at 7:30 pm, and will feature various well known aboriginal performers presented by NCI 105.5 FM.

Fireworks PhotoFireworks

Friday, June 13th and Sunday, June 22nd at 11 pm
The fabulous family fireworks will fill the sky over the Red River Ex at 11 pm on our last day, Sunday, June 22nd. Fireworks are presented by Canad Inns and the Winnipeg Free Press.
