Prairie Town Adventures is packed with excitement, fun and lots of interactive experiences that you’d find in a real prairie
town including:

 

Fossil Find:  Explore the world of dinosaurs and fossils in this unique area.

Dig for prizes in the fossil find area and be sure to get your picture taken alongside our Stegosaurus.

Construction Zone:  This interactive kid-sized world of tools and construction allows children to imagine their in a real-line construction job, complete with drawing tables, blocks and best of all…demolition!

All children receive a free construction hard hat for their hard work.

Rescue Station:  This is your chance to become a firefighter!

Kids will learn firsthand what it’s like to be a real firefighter by shooting water out of a fire hose and participating in the Mini Firefighter Skills Challenge. I

n the end all kids get to be a firefighter hero for the day and they’ll take home their very own fire helmet.

Prairie Town Farm:  Learn all about life on a farm in this really fun and entertaining agriculture area aimed at kids three to 10 years old.

The farm consists of 14 stations that show kids what a day would be like for them if they lived on a farm.

Kids can gather eggs, milk a cow, pick apples from the orchard, plant vegetables and visit the tractor pit, just to name a few of the many farm-related activities to participate in.

Kids pick up items at each station and carry them with them until the end of the visit when they sell the goods at the farmer’s market.

The kids receive ‘fun’ money for their items and then take a shopping trip at the Prairie Town Store.

Prairie Town Store:  Here, kids can shop like grown ups at their very own Prairie Town Store.

At the store, kids are encouraged to fill their cart and spend their own Prairie Town dollars while learning valuable life skills….all disguised as fun!

River Mining Company:  Pay-to-play for $5.  Pan for gemstones at our own mining adventure.

Every prospector gets a bag of mining rough to pan in an outdoor trough.  Panning out the rough will uncover as many as 20 different gemstones.

For $5, prospectors receive the mining rough, a bag to store your gems and a card that identifies the different varieties.
